About a visit, the problem is that we have several requests every week and particularly during a week-end.
and then, in addition ( more complicated) we have two places ; the head-office - account office + cellar close to Epernay (in La Neuville aux Larris - in the Marne Valley) and 45 kms from here is situated our winery close to Reims (in Cauroy les Hermonville - Massif de St Thierry) where I work (wine making and vine-growing) and live since 1975 ...
If you call at the head office ... you will have a tasting here,
if you call at our winery ( and my sweet bubbly home) you will have a tasting there,
and before tasting you could have a tour of the winery for trying the still wines (vins clairs) in barrels, or - and a short tour in the vineyards (depending the time ...).
It's necessary, when you do a request for a visit, to explain if you are a wine-enthusiast or wine-lover (an expert) ... in order to plan our time-table and tasting.
because some tourists are not necessary interested to taste the ''vins clairs'', or to try our large range of Bruts // Brut Nature (non dosato),
few of them want try just ''a chardonnay - Brut'' or just a Pinot Noir Brut ... or ''justa Demi-Sec '' ! ... Demi-sec (
) for me who try to give a purer taste of the grapes and terroirs with our low dosages Brut and without dosage with our Brut Nature versions...

it's necessary to explain you are wine-enthusiast in your request.
By the way : Les Rachais 2004 ( SO2 Total = 35 mg / L. // SO2 libre = 3 mg / L . no SO2 added at the degorgement ... )
Probably, you tried the bottles very recently degorged ( on 08 / 04 / 2009 ) ... the taste is difficult before 3 months of the degorgement date (?)...
